Orange Grove
Beginning in the 1920’s and ‘30’s, residential tile design exploded with color. During this period, the sanitary, utilitarian practicality of pure white tile in the craftsman period was set aside for color and pattern. Bathroom hygiene was still of primary importance, as the pandemic of the early part of the century was still fresh in people’s memories; but enough time had passed that the marketplace eagerly embraced the joy, delight and exuberance of colorful tiles. This remodel is our homage to the classic LA bath of this period. Budget-friendly tile in two colors, artfully arranged in a variety of patterns and shapes, provides maximum design impact.
